4 Stair Lifts - Return Policy

Our Stair Lifts and Vertical Lifts are custom-built products that are designed especially for your location. As a result, we cannot accept returns for cash refunds once the order has been processed. After you receive your order, you will have 10 days to inspect the product for damage or defects. If you have received a damaged or defective product, we will coordinate with the manufacturer to repair or replace the product at no cost to you. Repairs and replacements will be made at the manufacturer's discretion.

4 Stair Lifts has a highly trained staff with years of hands-on experience with all of our lift products. We take as much time as necessary to make sure you get the right lift, for the right location. We will walk you through every step of the process from construction to installation and will review architectural plans and pictures of your home or building site to insure you have a lift that meets your requirements.

Here are the specifics of the return policies for each of our products.

 

Stair Lifts 

Stair Lifts operate on a track that must be cut according to your unique specifications. Once an order is processed and the track is cut to match the stairway in your home, no returns are allowed. If an order that has been processed is cancelled before the track is cut, a $250 cancellation fee will be charged. This fee covers cancellation costs charged by the manufacturer.

If a shipment is refused by the customer, the customer will be responsible for a minimum of $500 to cover restocking and freight charges.

 

Vertical Lifts 

Vertical Lifts are completely non-returnable once the order has been processed, with no exceptions. At 4 Stair Lifts, we have instituted a rigourous set of protocols to insure that all parties involved in the purchase and installation of a vertical platform lift are aware of all necessary options and requirements prior to purchasing a lift.
